An exciting opportunity for an Area Delivery Manager is required on contract for a major Managed Service Telecoms Vendor in Dublin, Ireland.
The Area Delivery Manager will be responsible for providing the integrated team under his/her control, the guidance and management to deliver the requirements within the scope of the contract, namely the upgrade of Radio network 2G/3G/LTE activities for the customer in Ireland.
Acting as part of a pair/team of Cluster Managers and Technical Delivery Managers, the post holder will be expected to work as a coordinated team player in employing best practice methods and governance across all delivery teams whilst driving delivery for the specific activities under their control.
Required Experience:
*Management and interface to an Ericsson sub-contracted ASPs
*Governance of the sub-contracted ASP re: their strict compliance and adherence to their contracted scope of work
*Co-ordination with a group of specialist resources providing Dependent functions and services, H&S, QASIS, Logistics, to deliver an assigned portfolio of sites within the portfolio of clusters assigned.
*Support the Programme Delivery Manager(s) with governance, reporting and general requirements associated with the Programme and senior level requests.
*Monitor and support of financial budgets as necessary.
*Attendance and presenting requirement at Program Team meetings.
*Identification, mitigation, reporting along with the management and control of risks to the program plans.
*A sound understanding of Ericsson 2G/3G/LTE upgrade mobile technology and processes.
Person Specification:
*Effective and skilled user of MS Excel.
*Experienced at the method and techniques of developing work breakdown structures and project planning, defining, tracking, controlling, recovering, run-rate based deliverables.
*Highly organised with an attention to detail.
*Flexible and able to balance regular and planned activities with additional irregular work and ad hoc tasks.
*Good interpersonal skills
*Demonstrate ability to interact and influence people successfully.
*Able to work in a demanding environment and balance workloads between the larger teams.
*Self motivated, Result Orientated, Pro-active able to work on own initiative.
*Have existing knowledge of Ericsson tools and values, including, organisation and processes, and be proficient with Intranet and internal systems.
*PMP certified, or an alternative requisite Project Management process knowledge and training.
*Extensive Mobile telecommunications delivery/rollout experience specifically GSM/3G/LTE technology.
