I currently have an immediate requirement for a Mechanical Design Engineer for a 6-18 month contract based in Cumbria.RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide engineering solutions and design leadership on medium to large products within the nuclear industry. Duties/responsibilities include:
- Ability to analyse design requirements and provide engineering solutions;
- In-depth knowledge of nuclear working practices and procedures;
- Interact with other engineering disciplines;
- Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes;
- Ability to operate both 2D and 3D design software packages; and FEA - ANSYS
- knowledge of current design/safety legislation.
