The Role:
FinXL currently are looking to engage an experienced Platform Engineer to work on one of their client's key development divisions. This is an exclusive opportunity to work in a busy environment and get involved with a talented diverse team.
The position will suit someone who is delivery focused that likes to work in a collaborative team environment and drive the success of an organisation. To be successful, you will need to have demonstrable commercial experience in designing, implementing and supporting Middleware applications which host online channels for various business units. Essentially you will be designing the Middleware stack for production platforms.
Skills and knowledge required:
Previous experience with design, implement and support of Middleware applications
Experience with administration and configuration of Linux
Experience with working Java web and application Servers such as Apache
Tomcat or JBoss, Passenger
Experience with Puppet (IT Automation software)
Experience with application delivery such as Perl, Shell Scripting and programming with and/or Ruby or Python
