An international managed service company is seeking an SAP Finance Functional/Technical Analyst to work for one of their clients within the Oil & Gas Industry. The suitable candidate will have a mix of Functional & Technical SAP FI/CO experience and preferably have experience with the Oil & Gas Industry.

Responsibilities:

The position will report to the local process Team Lead, and share the responsibility for project value delivery.

1. Contribute and be accountable for a set of deployment deliverables of the corresponding functional team, which involves among others the following activities:

  • Understanding the "as is" business processes
  • Defining the functional specs & supporting the preparation of technical specs
  • Supporting the data conversion (tuning and running the tools)
  • Supporting data cleansing
  • Liaising with central teams for configuration requirements
  • Assisting in the preparation of integration & confirmation testing
  • Assisting the issue & defects resolution
  • Supporting confirmation acceptance testing
  • Assisting in cutover procedures

2. Work closely with business analysts to ensure that local components are reflected in a detailed technical design for DS1's SAP-ERP design according to the global design and global standards.

3. Ensure strong integration/communication between the respective functional area within the Central and Local Teams.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent understanding of SAP, with at least 3 years of hands-on SAP experience
  • Excellent SAP knowledge for the relevant process area:
  • SAP.FIN.CO
  • Good understanding of the Finance & Management Information process from a Business perspective
  • Have at least 2 end-to-end implementation life cycle experiences
  • A team player

  • Strong time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Ability to deal with constant change
  • Excellent problem resolution skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective experience in delivering large & complex SAP solutions to challenging deadlines
  • Oil & Gas Industry experience.
