Job title: ICT Marketing/Media Communications Consultant
Location: Shenzhen, China with frequent global travels
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months extendable
Language: English.
Working days: Monday to Friday
Responsibilities include the following:
- Responsible for brand planning and management, build brand management system;
- Developing and executing comprehensive, strategic, quantifiable communication campaigns tailored to the needs of Company's Global brand;
- As spokesman, communicate with the media, analysts and industry organizations, promote understanding of service industry among the industry organizations;
- Develop and maintain close relationships with key industry media, enhance relationship and cooperation across the full range of media;
- Responsible for maintenance and cooperation with industry communications such as GSMA, TMF, Uptime etc;
- Develop ideas and opportunities for feature articles, interviews, presentations, and other public relations activities that promote awareness of the company and its products or services
Qualifications include the following:
- MBA preferred or related discipline;
- 10+ years experience in direct marketing, communications or Marketing in ICT industry, experience within B2B highly desirable;
- Extensive experience in industry communications experience is required, industry organization background is a plus (GSMA/TMF);
- Skilled in operating within complex stakeholder organisations - strong influencing skills
- Ability to work in a high-pressure role with deadlines and responsibility, and have the ability to make snap decisions
- Entrepreneurial and creative qualities with a track record of developing successful marketing campaigns
- Good interpersonal presentation and communications skills
- Extensive experience in creating & delivering effective marketing communications
- Extensive experience in writing and editing for print and multi-media format;
- Digital marketing and new media marketing operation experience is required;
- English as working language, excellent written, oral and listening is required;
- Extensive experience with Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint;
- Willingness for frequent global business travels
