Functional Analyst - UML, RUP, Oracle RDBMS, document management
For a project with the European Commission in Brussels we are looking for a Functional Analyst.
Introduction/Context
The Analyst will work in a dynamic team responsible for the development and maintenance of document management applications.
All work will be performed on a Full time basis in the EC's premises.
Tasks
The services required relate to the analysis of user requirements and modelling of document management applications, the production of use case models, the design and analysis models, the follow-up of the developments, the participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users, and the assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the technical training, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting of document management applications of the EC.

- Workstations running Windows 7 and Office 2010
- Web tools & products: Eclipse, ANT, XMLSpy, SQL Developer
- Database server: Oracle 11g
- Stored procedures/functions: PL/SQL
- ARIS, ARIS Express, Visio

Linguistic and interpersonal skills
The candidate should be fluent in English both orally and in writing. Good linguistic skills in French are an advantage. The candidate should be able to work both independently and within a team and to build up good relationships with end users and colleagues.
