Description
ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Commercial Accountant required by this market leading organisation in Nottingham as a result of promotion. This role has a focus on Cost Analysis and you will be primarily responsible for all aspects of accounting, reporting, forecasting and control of the Operations cost base.
There is scope for you to develop the level of value-add analysis that is provided to stakeholders as well as drive improvements in the efficiency of the day-to-day processes.
Key duties:
* Assist in the compilation of budgets and forecasts for the Operations cost base
* Perform month end duties for Operations including journal posting, calculation of recharges and production of management reports
* Provide analysis to Operations cost centre managers, meet to explain variances to budget and provide financial advice to ensure tight management of cost base to allow budget targets to be met
* Develop and produce innovative management reporting
* Manage and support ad hoc financial projects
You will have Strong presentation and communication skill, with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders. You will have drive and ambition, with the ability to see the bigger picture and look at strategy and drive improvements and efficiencies.
In this role you will be supporting projects and additional ad hoc initiatives to really gain fantastic commercial exposure, and it will really offer you the scope to develop and progress within the business.
