Job Description: 

Testing of new CMS rules for the data reported on Medicare Part C Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) between Membership, Pharmacy, medical record system, and Claim system. Related, what is the purpose of the position and the major deliverables that are desired? The purpose of the position is to provide experienced testing services to the project including assisting in test planning/reporting, creation of test cases, execution of cases, defect creation, tracking and retesting. 

Primary functions of the job and approximate percentage of time required for each. Test Planning 20%; Test Case Creation, 25%; Test Case Execution, 30%; Defect Retesting, 20%; Status Reporting, 5%. 

Skills and minimum years of experience:

Proficiency with: Mainframe systems (preferably Membership or CRM systems); cross-application/system interface testing; QA methods; HP Quality Center; 2+ years acting as a Lead. 8+ years testing experience. 

Desired skills:

Familiarity with Medicare administration; familiarity with medical and/or pharmacy billing and reporting; experience with pharmacy benefit system; experience with EPIC or another electronic medical record system.
