Currently recruiting for an Administrator/Financial Administrator, to join a leading organisation based in prestigious offices in Central Glasgow.

Working within the Customer Payments team, you will be responsible for posting and refunding payments onto customer accounts.

This is an urgent requirement due an increased workload and will require the successful candidate to be immediately available and happy to commit to a contract for 6 weeks.

As Administrator/Financial Administrator, you will be responsible for dealing with customer queries within the Finance Operations team and resolving queries & cases arising from payment related activities.

DUTIES:

- Undertake daily payments administration and exception processing
- Ensure timely and accurate data is made available to the reconciliation team
- Ensure excellent customer experience by rapid resolution of queries/disputes acting as first line escalation point for all internal/external customers
- Continuously seek improvements in efficiency, productivity and data integrity in the payments process ensuring deadlines are met within agreed SLA's
- Ensure up to date processes and procedures are in place, adhered to and communicated cross-
functionally and erroneous or non standard activities are flagged appropriately
- Liaise with external vendors including Banks as required
sharing best practice in a positive and proactive manner to minimise future payment issues

SKILLS:

- Competent administration skills
- Excellent PC Skills
- Highly accurate and excellent attention to detail
- Payments experience in a consumer finance function within a high transaction volume environment
- Customer Service experience
- An awareness of wider commercial impacts
- Good attention to detail
- Flexible self starter & strong team player
- Professional with a good level of customer service skills
- Well developed communication skills
- Team player with ability to work under own initiative
