My client are looking for three Senior Electrical Design Engineers to join them. Due to winning an exciting new project they are looking for the right candidates to join them as soon as possible.

What does the job involve?

Overall Job Scope:
  • Design of motor control systems and other associated electronics as required
  • Lead engineer for oil & gas products
  • Possible Mentoring other engineers based on experience and personality


  • Key Responsibilities:
  • All oil and gas industry products to be designed and produced by the company
  • Best practice electronic systems design
  • Oil sector procedures compliance
  • High temperature electronics specialist
  • Design for hazardous area compliance

  • More specific responsibilities included in the above:
  • The design of Motion Control Systems and Sub Systems for Defence (Airborne, Land, Naval, Subsea), Space, Down-hole Oil and Gas, Medical
  • Applying the disciplines of:
  • Electronic Engineering, microprocessor (DSP, CPLD, FPGA) servo loop configuration
  • Simulation, Spice, MathCAD, optimisation of Motor Performance
  • Electronics circuit design and development, software development, enclosure & packaging engineering
  • Engineering tests of products and sub contact work design
  • Design for manufacture of electronic solutions & systems deployed in harsh environments
  • Participate in programmes & projects and dealing directly with clients as, including when required to support Business Development & Sales
  • Participate in PDR, CDR, PRDR, MRR, QUAL, CDRL, First Article Inspection, FCA & PCA Audits, RCRM customer meeting and Presentation of MTFB, FMEA, EMC, HALT, HASS etc.
  • Provide advice and proposals on new products and research and development expenditure, new controls and company engineering procedures, to ensure SEIL's success
  • Adherence to SEIL quality Procedures
