Computer Futures are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer (SSAS, SSIS) with experience working in the Insurance or Financial Services industryThe BI Developer will need to have SSAS analysis services and Data Warehouse design exposure and SSIS ETL business intelligence experience using creating SQL queries (MS T-SQL).
As a Business Intelligence Developer (SSAS, SSIS) you will need experience developing Business Intelligence requirements, defining and developing SSIS ETL requirements and working with methodologies such as Kimball. Also, a broad general knowledge of dimensional models and star or snowflake schema with the ability to learn new products and tools quickly.
Essential skills & experience
- Extensive Experience using SSAS (analysis services)
- Skills in writing SQL queries (T-SQL)
- Experience with SSIS ETL (integration services)
- A broad understanding of the principles of Business Intelligence
- Data warehouse design and methodology experience (ideally Kimball)
- Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of defining ETL requirements
Desired skills & experience
- Insurance experience (ideally London market)
- Financial Services experience
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent
