Description
Seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to provide technical expertise in developing capability on virtulisation platforms. You will work closely with the Virtualisation Team Leader and Operations to maximise uptime, system performance and continue evolution of the virtualisation platforms.
Skills and experience required:
- Proven significant experience working on projects to deliver technologically innovative solutions.
- You will have strong technical expertise with Citrix Xenapp, Xendesktop, desktop virtualisation, VMWare, Netapp storage and Cloud
- You must have managed and maintained server infrastructure in large and complex environments.
- Strong experience working with supporting services ranging from multi-forest Directory Services, Systems Management and Configuration Platforms, Distributed File Systems, Database Platforms and Windows Server Platform.
- You will be responsible for installation projects and develop and implement quality plans and method statements.
- Lead the assessment, analysis, planning and design of release packages, including assessment of risk.
- Monitor the effectiveness of installations and ensure that appropriate recommendations for change are made.
- Ability to write technical reports, process and procedures and service documentation
- You will have excellent relationship building skills and stakeholder engagement
