Customer Payments Administrator (Customer payments/claims/refunds administrator) Glasgow

Project People are currently recruiting for a Customer Payments Administrator on behalf of a large well known company located in central Glasgow. This is a 1 month temporary position looking to start on Thursday 12th September.

Candidates must be available to start on Thursday 12th September!

As Customer Payments Administrator you will be responsible for processing customer claims/refunds/payments. This is not a call centre based role rather a Back Office administrative function.

You will be working within a busy fast paced team, responsible for processing (checking/authorising) a high volume of customer claims. We are looking for someone who is highly accurate and can working in a high volume environment (the team can deal with up to 400 claims a day!).
Initially the role will be very admin focused, checking the incoming post and checking through payments received from customers, checking for queries or missing payments, then you will move on the verifying the repayments.
Ideal candidates would have come from either an accounts admin/payments background or a claims processing role.
