We have an URGENT Requirement for a Citrix Support/Administrator for a customer within utilities based in a prime Dublin location.
The Citrix Support/Administrator shall be responsible for providing to Citrix and the Terminal Services Environment.
Some responsibilities shall include:
- Installation, administration, support of the Citrix environment and associated applications
- Diagnosis and resolve issues within the Citrix and Terminal Services Environment
- Manage incidents relating to Citrix accordingly
- Monitor and manage the support queue for Citrix and associated Windows environment
- Act as the primary contact for end customer and other teams regarding technical issues
- Maintain and update the incident database
Technical Skills Required for the role:
(Essential)
- Citrix XenApp 5.0/6.5 Administration and support experience
- Citrix password management/SSO Administration and support experience
- Network printing in Terminal Server Environment
- Citrix presentation Server 5.6/6.1
- AppSense 8.3 Administration experience
- MS App-V 4.6/5.0 (Sp1)
- Citrix Access Gateway Enterprise 9.x
- Citrix Web Interface 5.4
- Some VB Scripting experience
- Excellent technical document writing skills
It would be of benefit to have experience in some of the following areas:
- Active Directory group policy management and Citrix UP knowledge
- Windows Server
- VMware ESX 5.1
- ITIL processes and procedures
This is a wonderful opportunity with an established organisation. Initially it is a 12 month contract with an extremely high probability of extending beyond.
