Dev Ops Cloud EngineerMy client a leading Media Company is seeking a Dev Ops Cloud Engineer to join their busy analytics team. The right person should be driven and have previous experience in AWS. You will be designing and developing data solutions, working on cutting edge next generation analytics.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Previous experience in developing data platforms (for machine processing, data warehousing, data mining, event processing, analysis and reporting)
- To have used Cloud infrastructures; AWS essential (Chef, Puppet)
- Hadoop (Hive, Pig, HBase)
- To have used at least one of the following for Software Development; Python, Java, Ruby, C, Bash
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Proven experience in implementing solutions through monitoring, communicating and resolving functional and technical issues
Desirables:
- Expert in using SQL (or Excel)
- Experience in using NoSql, MongoDB, Cassandra or Redis
- Agile environment
- Experience of working with large datasets
- Experience of any data integration tools
Rate: £400- £500
Location: Central London
Duration: 6 Months+
