Our client is an Aerospace business that has been delivering high-quality engineering solutions to the world's leading aircraft manufacturers for over ten years. With a reputation for cutting-edge design and analysis, their broad skills base and effective project management have earned them the opportunity to be a key supplier to clients such as Airbus and Rolls-Royce.

They are currently looking for talented Senior and Lead Stress Engineers with expertise in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance to join their growing team in Bristol. The role is ideally suited to a high calibre engineer with relevant post graduate experience. You will be expected to take full ownership of technical tasks and leading others in their execution.

You are likely to be degree qualified (2:1) or equivalent, with significant experience in the of fatigue and damage tolerance domain and will have a demonstrable track record of delivering projects to time, quality and cost. Experience within the Aerospace industry would be advantageous, but is not essential, however, any experience within Static Stress Analysis (metallic or composite) or Finite Element Analysis would be of particular interest.

You should also be able to demonstrate a technical awareness in the field of aero structures; a diligence and determination to ensure work is carried out to a high standard; effective report writing, client management and communication skills as well as commercial awareness, adaptability and innovative thinking. It is likely that you will have, or expect to achieve Chartership through the IMechE or RAeS.
