Technical support/Linux/Windows/Citrix/Networking/Scripting/Equities/Derivatives/Trading/Pricing
We are currently looking for a strong technical Support Analyst to deliver technical/functional support on several global applications that run on RH Linux and Windows Servers.
Activities:
-Ensure availability of trading/financial markets systems
-Get involved in global projects for software upgrades/implementations
-Implement changes for many projects on the production environments
-Direct contact with the business/end users all over the globe to solve technical issues with applications.
- Second line support & maintenance activities on cross border cross-asset trading applications
-Have the ability to delve into underlying network of Servers (LAN) to locate application issues before passing onto 3rd line support
Skills needed:
-Experience with supporting Trading, Market Making, Contribution or Pricing systems (5 years)
- Basic Windows/Linux/Citrix skills and have experience with Routers/Firewalls/network connectivity as you will be providing input into the infrastructure team
- Good generic system support experience and you will preferably be able to do Scripting (unix or Java)
- Experience in executing the ITIL-processes (Incident, Problem and Change Management).
