Description
Your function will consist in managing the server components and helping the customer when migrations of sites from older sharepoint Servers to the latest version are done.
You will:
- Handle all incidents and problems raised by the clients.
- Monitor the health state of the installed infrastructure components and proactively take corrective actions.
- Elaborate and apply the needed upgrades/patches/fixes on the platforms.
- Examine the content of apps before they are moved to production.
- Make suggestions to improve the installed components.
- Elaborate and participate Disaster Recovery Procedures.
Profile:
Needed technical skills:
- Proven knowledge of Sharepoint 2007 and Sharepoint 2010. Knowledge of Sharepoint 2013 is a plus.
- Proven skills in managing and contributing to migration projects from SP 2007 to 2010.
- Proven knowledge of Powershell Scripting.
- ASP.NET/VBA programmation skills.
- Knowledge of underlying server platforms (mostly Windows 2008).
- Knowledge of Lync and Exchange 2010 is a plus.
Needed soft skills:
- Manage (part of) migration projects in an independent way but at the same time be a good team player
- Knowledge of NL and FR (one of both may be basic).
