Proteus Europe operating as an employment business, have a client who require an experienced C++, QT Software Engineer to immediately contribute to the completion of a GUI configuration tool for an Router Product.Knowledge & Experience:
C++ development: Minimum 10 years commercial experience with evidence of work in multi- threaded and real-time applications.
Technologies: Has proven commercial experience using Qt or a similar cross platform application GUI framework.
Knowledge of other technologies such as Boost or Juce are a plus.
OS: Has proven commercial experience writing Windows or Linux desktop applicat ions. Experience writing applications on other OS's such as OSX, iOS and Android are a plus.
User Interface Design: Has proven commercial experience with custom widgets.
Domain experience: Digital Audio, Pro Audio, PA/VA or network communications are advantageous.
Essential tools: At least one of the following - Visual Studio, Qt Creator, Eclipse.
Skills & Attributes:
Communicative, self-managing, reasonably autonomous but knows when to seek help and ask questions. Meticulous when it comes to writin g code. Ability to communicate what you've done verbally - and in writing.
