NHS Physiotherapist - Band 5 - Acute inpatient wards: Cardio-thoracic & Respiratory Medicine - Full Time - 6 months - North West: LancashireReal Staffing are looking for an experienced Band 5 Physiotherapist to specialise in the area of cardio-thoracic and respiratory physiotherapy, for a full time, 6 month locum contract, with an experienced MHZ multi-disciplinary team. This role is ideal for any physiotherapist wanting to develop their skills in a specialist area of physiotherapy throughout the period of Winter Pressures. Anyone interested in this fantastic opportunity must have recent experience in this specialist field of physiotherapy and be able to work completely autonomously as a locum physiotherapist.
We are looking for locums with experience in the following areas:
- Band 5 MHZ experience
- Cardio-thoracic skills (including CAB and post surgical patients)
- Respiratory skills (including ITU, acute wards and post surgical patients)
The locum role is to start on Wednesday 18th September 2013 and is for 6 months subject to the the Trust's waiting list pressures and demands on the service, until mid March 2014. You will be part of an experienced Physiotherapy team based in at a large hospital where you will be expected to manage a caseload of cardio-thoracic and respiratory patients.
Suitable applicants must have the following criteria:
- Band 5 MHZ experience
- Experience in cardio-thoracic and respiratory physiotherapy.
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- HPC registered
- Valid Passport
- CRB checked (clean)
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Occupational Health Checks
- Mandatory Training
- Clinical references x 2
