Description
Oracle Weblogic Specialist required for an initial 4 month role to be based in the Netherlands.
Assignment Duties:
Design Oracle configurations to integrate Servers as a platform for applications.
Preparation of technical specifications and design from functional, technical and/or management specifications and technical direction on disposal routes with internal staff or by third parties.
Technical Experience Required:
Oracle (Weblogic and Database) experience is a must.
You must have knowledge and proven experience with:
o the internal architecture and operation of Weblogic R10.3.6.x.
o updating and migrating from 10.3.5.x to 10.3.6.x.
o the internal architecture and operation of Database ,
- with (Active) Data Guard and partitioning,
o Testing Data Guard failover to a standby server,
o manual and other documentation preparation,
Knowledge and experience with network protocols;
Knowledge and experience with underlying infrastructure operating systems with Linux being a plus;
Knowledge and experience with infrastructure components such as SAN (ie: HP SAN brocade, Cisco), HP SIM, HP SUM, Red Hat, Linux with Altiris being desired
