A global biopharmaceutical organisation is urgently looking for a Downstream Commissioning Lead to play an important role on a $300M+ investment project in Asia.

Location: Germany (various vendor sites), then South-East Asia

Role and Responsibilities:
* Leading the commissioning of all downstream process equipment ($50M CAPEX) on the overall investment project
* Managing a commissioning team of 6 people, as well as users and equipment vendors
* Supporting the development and reviewing of the commissioning strategy
* Managing FATs (at vendor sites), SATs and equipment tests
* Ensuring a smooth handover to the site operations team at the end of the commissioning phase

Requirements:
* Degree educated in Chemical / Process Engineering or equivalent experience
* Strong engineering background working on (bio) pharmaceutical investment projects
* Good knowledge of downstream biotech process equipment such as chromatography columns, filtration skids and centrifuges
* Experience in commissioning planning and execution of equipment tests
* Experience engineering teams
