Risk System Developer
Key skills:
- C++
- Oracle (OCI in particular)
- .NET
- Fluent in French and/or Dutch
- Experience within the Utilities
Desirable:
- Development under Linux
- Multi-threading and multi-processing
About the role of Risk System Developer:
- Assist the development team with creating an online application for the calculation engine that was previously used as a batch-application
- Cooperate on the development of the web Front End
- Cooperate on the integration of the risk system in the existing landscape which consists mainly of database-applications on top of Oracle.
- Take into account performance, transparency and reliability: Give the size of the portfolio, the application relies on High-Performance Computing (HPC) techniques
- To analyse the portfolio in a timely manner. However transparency on the deal valuation and reliability are of primary importance
About my client:
My client works within the Utilities sector based in Brussels, Belgium. They are looking for a Risk System Developer to join one of their teams starting immediately. The initial contract will run till the end of March 2014.
