SQL AZURE/DBA/SQL/CLUSTERING/DR PLAN/BACK-UP/T-SQLI'm currently looking for a SQL DBA with experience of Azure based technologies.
You will be working on a Greenfield's project for a gaming client of mine for a period of 3 months, developing a back-up regime, disaster recovery plan, fixing their SQL clustering and mentoring junior SQL developers and DBA's on site.
My client is looking for somone that has previous experience of SQL Azure, preferably in a previous role, and that can work in their very relaxed, yet hard working, office environment!
Their offices are based in the North of England, and offer a very relaxed working environment, with games machines and pool on site! Alongside this, they run regular "hackathons", and contribute to open source software and forums, if this is your thing!
As mentioned above, they are working on a SQL Azure based system - a heavy emphasis is placed on this for any candidate going forward for this role. They will consider either proffesional experience of working with SQL in an Azure enviroment, SQL Azure, or extensive, and demonstratable, Azure experience in a personal work capacity. Microsoft qualifications are also a plus.
