Top 3 - 5 Daily responsibilities
Manage multiple concurrent projects (3 to 8) of moderate to advanced complexity utilizing infrastructure technologies.
Utilize formal project management process including project plans, change controls, status reporting and risk and issue management.
Manage activities of vendors and internal functional delivery teams related to project objectives.
Top 3 - 5 Required Skills:
Strong project management skills, proven track record of delivery of projects of $1M - $10M or greater budget.
Leadership skills, experience managing (direct or Matrix) and mentoring junior project managers.
Experience in IT Infrastructure: Mainframe, Servers, storage, database, networking, DR, etc.
Experience with large scale/multi site IT deployments.
4 year degree
Desired skills:
Consulting experience with a large professional services company (Big 4, IBM, HP, CSC, Cap Gemini etc.)
PMP certification.
ITIL certification
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.

Educational Requirement: 4 year degree required in Computer Science, Engineering or IT
Do you require a face to face interview, or will you hire from a phone interview. Yes face to face in Pleasanton.
Can the contractor work remotely or do they need to be onsite. I would like the contractor to be on site min 3 day's per week.
Is driving to facilities a responsibility of this job? There is a possibility that the contractor may have to drive to one of the NCAL data centers in Napa, Walnut Creek or here at Pleasanton. In addition they may need to visit the Walnut Creek offices.
