Oracle, Technical, German or French, PL/SQL, Linux Shell Scripting, Java.
We are urgently seeking a Technical Oracle PL/SQL Consultant, fluent in either French or German.
Project contect;
This project is to provide support for the ESB-DT team who are responsible for the design, development, maintenance and operations of the ESB-DT system. The ESB-DT system implements provisioning and activation processes for telecommunications services aimed at the residential market (Broadband Internet Access, IPTV, Email, etc.).
Your role;
To provide support for the ESB-DT system:
Resolve/follow-up on any exception that occurs within ESB-DT processes
Provide 1st level support for users of ESB-DB Portal
Provide level 2 support for onsite installation teams
Generate operational reports/statistics about ESB-DT processes
Perform data maintenance/cleaning actions on ESB-DB
Cooperate with other teams (Back Office, Technical Platforms) to insure consistency of service inventory with commercial inventory and technical inventory systems.
Document operational procedures, update knowledge base, maintain incident logs
Assist the Development team with integration testing
Report operational issues to the Design/Development teams in the context of a continuous improvement process
Your Profile;
Bachelor's degree in IT, or equivalent professional experience
Expert knowledge and proven experience with Oracle and PL/SQL
Working knowledge of Linux Shell Scripting
Basic knowledge of/experience with Linux Servers and IP Networks
Very good written and verbal communication skills in English AND (French OR
German), preferably also Luxembourgish.
Experience with testing tools such as SoapUI, JMeter is an asset
Experience with J2EE-related technologies is an asset
Working knowledge of modelling languages such as BPML and UML
