Job Description Optimization Engineer 2G/3G (Nortel & Huawei equipment)
The main responsibility is to ensure that all solution deliveries to customers are made in a professional manner, achieving customer satisfaction and securing profitability for ouer company.
Depending on the applicable functional skill, the responsibilities are:
- Participation in customer projects
- Collection and analysis of customer requirements
- Perform Network Optimization at cellular level in order to contribute to regional quality of service by Investigating network performance (based on analysis of drive tests results, clients complaints, performance indicator).
- Issuing, discussing and/or implementing optimization recommendations (optimization of cell parameters and aerials) for network improvement
- Perform daily cell troubleshooting and take adequate actions to solve issues (Worse Cell Listing)
- Perform cluster optimization in order to improve quality
- Analyse, solving and answering of quality & coverage customer complaints in due times
- Share knowledge from service deliveries in applicable forums
Job Requirements Optimization Engineer 2G/3G (Nortel & Huawei equipment)
- Industrial Engineer Electronics/Telecommunication or equal by experience.
- Minimum 2 years Experience in Design/optim 2G/3G especially domain RAN&Optim.
- Good knowledge of 2G Nortel RAN & 2G/3G HUA RAN incl U900, 2nd carriers, 3rd carriers.
- Very good knowledge of Radio Planning tool (Asset).
- Very good knowledge of post processing tools Metrica, PRS and Actix.
- Knowledge of optimizations tools like Optimi.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft - Excel - PowerPoint - Acces.
Other requirements
- You speak French/English or Dutch/English.
