The Role
- Creating applications with large numbers of users and dealing with the challenges that this brings.
- Deliver performance focused solutions which cater for high volume applications.
- You will be well versed with various software delivery models, working closely with architects, UX Designers and product developers to design and build best of breed web and mobile applications.
- Work with designers to convert details mock-ups into fully functioning production ready code.
- Designing and delivering cutting edge online products for large scale websites. The more examples the better.
- Developing web applications with rich client interfaces using HTML5, AJAX, drag and drop, and other DOM Scripting techniques
- Responsive design techniques
- Developing for touch
- .NET and Microsoft Technologies
- Understanding of design patterns and why to use them
- Web Services (REST, SOAP, XML-RPC)
- Strong understanding of browser standards and compatibility best practice
- Expert JavaScript skills including frameworks such a JQuery for rapid prototyping
- Excellent communication skills and business acumen
- A good understanding C# ASP .NET
Skills Required:
- Experience developing for iOS and Android platforms will be highly regarded.
- Excellent JavaScript skills and good knowledge of Objected Oriented programming principles and best practice Javascript design patterns.
- Developing online user interfaces for web and mobile products
- Have a strong appreciation for the end user experience - with useability and speed being primary objectives
- A deep understanding of continuous delivery and automated testing and the value that these provide
- Experience with Automated testing frameworks.
- A good understanding of branching and merging strategies and when it's appropriate
- Strong understanding of software design patterns.
- You must be a team player; collaboration should be in your nature
- You should be comfortable working in an environment with a high degree of ambiguity
- You will be comfortable presenting new ideas and techniques to your peers and senior management
- A keen interest in current and emerging web technologies and development framework.
