Basic Qualifications

* BS Electrical Engineering
* Minimum 5 years experience in digital, analog and RF circuit design
* Strong knowledge of state of the art PCB fabrication technology (SMT, BGA, blind/buried/stacked microvia, etc.) and assembly is a must
* Strong knowledge of schematic design and layout using CAD tools for PCB design such as Altium Designer (preferred), OrCAD and Cadence Allegro is a must
* Must be able to generate, review and understand formal engineering drawings and documents required for the fabrication and assembly of Printed Circuit Boards and Hybrids
* Experience working with vendors and contract manufacturers for PCB fabrication and assembly
* Must be able to mentor and review the work of less experienced engineers
* Must be able to work with minimal supervision
* Mastery of basic laboratory instruments and tools (e.g. DMM, mixed signal oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer)
* Strong experience in technical report writing
* Ability to work in a team environment; strong collaboration skills
* Effective verbal and written communication Desired/Preferred Qualifications

* MS Electrical Engineering
* 5 or more years in one or more of the following: medical device design, ultra low power battery operated systems, embedded microcontroller/microprocessor system design
* Knowledge of RF circuit (DC to 2.4GHz) and antenna design
* Knowledge of the implementation of high-speed multimedia processors into embedded systems
* Knowledge and experience in the application of multiple radios (including cellular) for an M2M (Machine to Machine) device application is a plus
* Knowledge of optoelectronics is a plus
* Experience writing embedded firmware in assembly and/or C
