A leading Medical Device Manufacturer, based inWisconsin, now has an excellent opportunity for a CNC Programmer on a 6 Month Contract to Hire basis.Due to a period of sustained success, this market leading Medical Device Manufacturing Company is seeking to grow its current client base and is looking to hire a CNC Programmer to lead in the servicing of new clients through rapid prototyping and large scale manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity to expand skills and function in a lead capacity.
The candidate will be involved in the following activities; Creating and Maintaining CNC Programs, setting up and proving out new CNC Programs, supporting machinists with problem solving and trouble-shooting, tooling design, process improvements and lean implementation.
Candidates for this position must have the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years CNC Programming experience using G Code
- 5+ years Machining experience ideally with Vertical mills, Horizontal mills and lathes
- Strong CAD skills
- Strong Blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Strong background with Tooling applications
- Knowledge of metal cutting tools, holders, fixtures and workholding
