FX Support Team LeadOur client in Midtown Manhattan is looking for a FX Support Team Lead leader with FX electronic trading experience. No relocation assistance is available; salary is approx k. We will consider candidates that have at least 2.5 years remaining on the H1b visas. They are unable to sponsor candidates on an F1 or OPT visa.
Your tasks will include:
- Support of all applications within FX technology to maintain stability and to promptly resolve any production problems.
- Managing and resolving incidents and outages
- Provide front office support in a timely manner
- Automate and fix issues where possible, and escalate when needed
- Client communication on a day to day basis
- Working within SLA parameters in the provision of a high quality application support service
- Developing, testing and implementing application enhancements
- Responding to and acting on customer issues/requests and recognition of client priorities
- Assisting in software deployments
- Day to day monitoring of aspects of the application.
Our client will be looking for a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Having at least a couple of these hands-on technical skills is necessary: SQL, unix/linux commands and perl / shell scripting . You will need in-depth knowledge of the Forex market and a good understanding of how electronic trading works.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate with team leadership/management experience and a strong technical background in FX application support - strong communication skills are preferred.
