Fixed Income Production SupportA top international financial services company inManhattanis looking to add a member to their tech support team. This position delivers support for mission-critical trade capture systems. No relocation assistance is available; salary is approx 100k - 125k. They are unable to sponsor candidates on an F1 or OPT visa.
Your tasks will include:
- Support all facets of fixed income and trade risk flows as well as trader- sales matching.
- Manage the incident response process.
- Carry out risk reconciliations for the Rates Swaps desk.
- Problem solving including escalating problems to suitable technology and business teams.
- Create and maintain technical support documentation.
- Start of day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handover.
- Carry out post release testing after application releases and infrastructure updates.
- Serve as middle man between users and traders as well as internal technology groups and vendors.
Our client will be looking for a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. The candidate should have experience supporting Trade Capture and Risk Management systems as well as trader communities within credit and rates flow desks. Past experience with electronic markets and straight through processing is desirable.
Useful technical skills include LINUX/UNIX, basic programming or scripting (shell/perl/python for example), SQL etc.
