I am currently looking for a Structural/Design Engineers to work on a initial 3-6 month contract in Manchester.My client are looking to interview candidates this Friday with an immediate start available.
You will ideally need to have worked on projects including hospital, university, commercial and refurb. They require structural design and Fastrak builing design experience where possible.
Duties you will be expected to carry out:
Structural engineer for the design of large structures.
Preparation of design documents, including basis of design.
Piles, floor, roof, walls, retaining walls, stability, road works, culverts designed.
Stability analysis and design of foundations, columns, shear walls, bracings etc.
Production of construction drawings.
Attending meetings with Client and other disciplines including Contractor and Fabricator.
Replying/answering to fabricator and site TQ's.
