Service Manager with a strong background in managing a BI support function is required by a leading financial organisation based in the Netherlands. The Service Manager will have an excellent understanding and strong track record of leading a BI Support Function in a Global live environment, running a substantial BI data warehouse.

The current BI function is in need of major consolidation and leadership, with a much greater level of efficiency than it presently has. The Service Manager will look at the processes, incidents, problems and changes, rectifying and streamlining these where appropriate. The Service Manager will come from an Operational background, and although there is no requirement to be hands-on, will understand the challenges and technical issues that arise from a BI support function.

Essential:

- Service Manager with excellent experience of managing a BI support function

- Service Manager from an operational background

- Excellent understanding of ITIL - ITIL v3 or equivalent

- Excellent background of working within a global live environment - 24/7

- Excellent experience of leading and directing a failing BI Support function
