Consol Partners are currently recruiting for a Functional Analyst to work for my client a leading Consultancy based in Belgium on a 3-6 month contract due to start ASAP. The project is for a large telecom company building an enterprise E-commerce system following scrum methodologies.
Skills Needed
You will gather the business requirements in a smooth and timely manner
You will translate these requirements to functional specifications and write them down in use cases, visualize them through wireframes
You will be responsible for writing user stories for the development sprints based on these functional specifications.
You will assist the project manager by keeping a firm eye on the scope and deadlines and escalate when necessary.
You will follow-up on development and will test the functionalities described in the user stories.
You will guide key-users with the user acceptance tests.
You will maintain contacts with the developers and key-users from the business.
Profile
You have several years of experience with functional analysis of complex web applications.
You have experience working for enterprise clients in Waterfall and Agile environments.
You have an excellent knowledge of all sorts of analysis techniques (UML, use cases, user stories, wireframes
You have experience working for web agencies and understand the pitfalls of project work.
Preferably you already have some experience with E-commerce and content management systems.
You have strong reporting and communication skills.
You like to work in a fast-paced environment with challenging deadlines.
You are an analytical person and have an eye for quality and detail.
You face challenges head-on, are assertive and proactive.
You can self-manage and can integrate smoothly in a team of developers.
You are hands-on and pragmatic.
You speak English fluently. A good knowledge of Dutch or French is a bonus
