Description
The Engineering Technician will help support a diverse team of engineers starting off on 2 up coming projects. The position will report to the Engineering Manager overseeing these projects.Below is a list of the qualifications the successful candidate must have:
- 5+ years experience with an upstream oil and gas company as an Engineering Technician
- Must have good database management skills
- Experience supporting reservoir and production engineers
- Demonstrate ability to proficient learn and use petroleum softwares such as Petra, Aries, DSS, etc.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, & Word
- Understanding of oilfield operations
- Great communication skills (oral & written)
- Spotfire & Wellview experience is an advantage
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
