QA TesterA global financial company located in Midtown Manhattan is looking to add a permanent Quality Assurance tester to join their front office team. Salary is approx 115k - 135k. They are unable to sponsor candidates on an F1 or OPT visa. They can work with H1b visa if there is at least two years left. No relocation assistance is available. The client will need someone specifically with experience testing execution systems - especially automated or electronic trading systems.
Job Summary:
- Test software to determine if functions are running according to their requirements and that the software meets performance guidelines.
- Work on both manual and automated testing applications, running trading application simulations and regressions tests.
- Communicate with traders on a daily basis to solve installation issues and software defects.
- Handle and communicate defect status as well as updates with developers.
- Create and analyze test data.
Our client will be looking for a bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Computer Sciences or technical/ mathematical background. Demonstrated experience in at least one scripting language.
