Description
Under limited supervision, serves as primary liaison between users and IT teams to analyze business and functional requirements and establish data requirements and processes related to management of master data. Evaluate business requests to determine requirements, feasibility, and recommend business solutions.1. Develops, validates, documents, and maintains business and functional requirements and conducts structured walkthroughs of requirements with business and project team members.
2. May work with project teams to support requirements gathering
1. Analyzes MDM data, source system data, etc in support of integration of applications into the MDM environment
2. Facilitates the identification of MDM elements and their definition
3. Facilitates and/or develops MDM processes to support the management of Master data and to ensure compliance of MDM principles
3. May analyzes MDM data, source system data, etc in support of improving data quality
1. works with the business to identify data issues and identify potential solutions
2. proactively works to identify ways to improve data quality through business rules automation
4. May work with the SharePoint team to build/enhance the MDM SharePoint site.
5. Evaluates business requests to determine feasibility; researches and identifies options.
6. May lead acceptance testing to ensure client/user needs are met.
7. Responds to questions from business and IT teams.
8. Evaluates and tracks new or enhanced solutions to determine potential issues and communicates how problems may affect business and recommends solutions.
9. Participates in change management activities, Q&A testing, troubleshooting, and investigation.
10. Performs task automation and implements process improvements; recommends enhancements that result in increased quality and service.
11. Maintains regular and predictable attendance
