We are recruiting for appropriate candidates for the vacancy of Senior IP Engineer Operations.

Overall purpose of the position:
- Ensures availability and continuous improvement/quality of services by providing 2nd line operations and maintenance support for IP Networks
- 2nd line incident management support
- Implementing changes
- Problem management
- Structural improvements to availability, capacity and performance
- Supporting new service introduction/projects
- Support Service manager in organizing and managing team
Key results:
- Responsible for the continuous performance of the IP based networks
- Register and analyse incidents, co-ordinate and monitor progress, update incident tickets
- Participate
- Co-ordinate 2nd/3rd line supplier support
- Plan, administrate, prepare and execute changes in line with change management process
- Responsible for problem management and quality improvements
- Responsible for operational acceptance new systems/applications
- Advises management in improvement proposals
- Support and manage improvement projects
- Responsible for delegated Manager tasks
Functie eisen Senior IP Engineer Operations
- Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent level gained by experience, in Information Technology/Electronics/Telecommunications/data communications Engineering
- Expert knowledge of IP Networks and security
- At least 5 years of experience in operational IP Networks support
- Approaching CCIE level in several areas
- Experienced in ITIL processes
- Expert in several of the following technologies:
- TCP/IP Networks, Cisco Routers, Switches and remote access Servers
- Juniper Routers
- Huawei Routers/Firewalls
- Fortinet Firewalls
- Network security (IOS access lists, VPN, IPS)
- Network and routing protocols
- Application protocols
- Network and performance monitoring
- Ciscoworks
