Global banking organisation is seeking a Project Manager for a Internet Explorer and CWD3 Global roll out.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the overall management of relationships with major corporate and institutional clients providing advice and integrated financial solutions to raise capital. Global Banking comprises; Advisory (Inc Strategic Financing Advisory / Strategic Transaction Group), Project Finance, Export Finance, Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Leveraged & Acquisition Finance.

Key Skills:
  • Previous experience of co-ordinating Windows 7, Office 2010 and Internet Explorer 10 deployment to a global user base from a remote location .
  • Experience working with third party software suppliers
  • Effective and proven relationship management skills with IT business managers to provide solutions , instill confidence , provide detailed project plan ,risk and technical project analysis , motivate and maintain project momentum
  • Hands on , pro-active ( getting the job done ) positive approach with Global IT Business managers and other team members including business analysts, trade floor support , user representatives, developers and IT operations.
  • Experience in project management, testing and planning .
  • Experience of pilot user deployment and associated challenges
  • Ability to balance the business risk and the project deployment deadline
  • Ability to facilitate conference calls and push through agenda effectively with technology teams
  • Ability to co-ordinate efforts from a remote location and build good relationships within the team to achieve deadlines
  • Knowledge of financial services; preferable Capital Markets (Fixed Income, Equity, Loans) and Investment Banking
  • Ability to work off own initiative and under pressure.
  • Build working relationships with third party software vendors and internal IT departments.
  • Experience of working with global distributed team.
  • Proven delivery record against budget and time lines.
  • Proven pro active reporting of issues and follow through to resolution.
  • Following Clients Risk-Based Project Management (RBPM) and GB GCF IT methodologies to ensure successful project delivery with strict adherence to practices and the production of all necessary documentation
  • Willingness to perform other tasks required to ensure successful project delivery
