Proteus Europe operating as an employment agency, is currently seeking a Operations Manager, somebody who would organise the manufacturing throughput for all our clients company activities. These include development projects, small batch production and product repair/maintenance and calibration.Manufacturing and associated engineering effort will need to be planned and resourced using in-house staff and sub-contract effort as required.
Responsibility for meeting budgeted costs and timescales.
we are looking for a of minimum 5 to 10 years relevant experience, preferably in the electronics industry. You will ideally have knowledge of the electronics industry, computer literate with experience and ability to use project based, manufacturing software packages.
Degree level education preferred but not essential if sufficient aptitude and experience can be demonstrated. Experience of Lean Manufacturing methods etc an advantage
Any experience with Microsoft Office plus CRM and project based, manufacturing software tools would be usueful as would any customer contact and WIP responsibility within an SME electronic engineering company.
