Description
Excellent opportunity for two Contract Development Consultants with strong commercial experienceofWPF/WCF development. You will be working as a part of a small Development team based in Staffordshire on a project expected to last for around 6 months.Alongside the existing team you will become an integral member developing a recently launched business critical retail management system. This key role will require a hands on approach from the specification stage for the new applications,coming up with efficient designs and functionality. As the project develops you will also be responsible for key enhancements to the software.
Essential skills:
- .Net 4/4.5, C#, VB, WPF, XAML, WCF, SQL
- Ability to design and style simple and efficient UI using WPF
- 4+ years of WPF/WCF/SQL software engineering experience
Desirable:
- Experience developing retail software, specifically in inventory and pos applications
- Retail industry experience
- HTML5, Javascript, CSS3
- MVVM/MVC
