SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER Remote(if qualified)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop software for rendering medical images and associated information.
  • Design, implement, test, and document applications that use Microsoft and other industry standard technologies, meeting the requirements established for a given project.
  • Follow internal processes and procedures
  • Investigate and resolve reported defects
  • Work closely with other staff members to coordinate assignments and communicate status and/or difficulties.
  • Ability to work independently, provide input, solutions and recommendations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


    • SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

    Essential:
  • BS or BE in computer related field.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in object oriented development using Microsoft Windows and Web technologies.


    • Strong working experience in:
  • C++
  • COM
  • Multi-Threading
  • Object Oriented Design
  • Thorough understanding of Object Oriented Design
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong software development discipline, including software refactoring
  • Assertive team player with demonstrated initiative.
  • Ability to work independently, with general direction from supervisor
  • Ability to meet deadlines.


    • Desired:
  • MS in Computer Science
  • Software development experience in the healthcare industry, especially hospital informatics, DICOM or PACS.
  • User Interface Development using HTML and Javascript
  • Working experience Window GDI
  • Basic Competency in Computer Graphics : Chromatic transformations and 2D/3D spatial transformations.
  • Basic Competency in Analytical Geometry and Linear Algebra.
