SECURITY ARCHITECT, TOGAF, SABSA, ORACLE, SOA, SPRING, JAVA SE/EE, IP NETWORKING

As the Security Architect you will form part of the Security Services team. You will need to be a highly skilled technology expert responsible for the design and implementation of security technology ensuring alignment with the business initiatives, its security standards, emerging threats and helping meet strategic targets, including security for its users.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate and recommend new or enhanced technologies that could improve current systems.

- Make sure investment in this area is inline with strategy and advise where necessary.

- Report into senior management

- Develop plans for security technologies and help integrate with other aspects of technical infrastructure.

- Use and promote software, systems and operational security design methodologies.

- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to detect, mitigate and remediate software security across the business.

- Lead Management

Essential Skills

- Experience working as part of large team working on multiple large and complex projects

- Extensive software engineering experience

- Experience in enterprise architecture framework such as TOGAF, SABSA

- High transactional systems experience

- Strong communication and documentation skills

Desired Technical Experience (Ability to pick up new technologies quickly)

- JMS

- AJAX

- Java SE/EE
