Description
My client - a global chemical company - are recruiting a team of experienced process safety engineers. Located at their site in Scotland they will be joining their team at an exciting time with several new projects in the pipeline.Candidates must have experience and understanding of the following:
- Engineering degree, preferably chemical engineering
- Significant experience in a combination of technical engineering and operational roles.
- Broad understanding of Petrochemicals and/or Refining.
- Strong understanding of legislation, standards and guidance in process safety, including the interface with land-use planning.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build relevant relationships and networks at all levels both inside and outside the company.
- Clear and logical thinker with an ability to work outside the core technical arena and to develop creative solutions to emerging problems.
