I am recruiting on behalf of an NHS body in London which requires a Senior Management Accountant to support the Director of Finance during a key period of transition.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant with a background in NHS finance who is look to utilise their strong technical skills in a hands-on role.
Essential Skills:
- Senior Management Accountant
- Qualified Accountant or Finalist
- NHS experience (PCT, CCG, CSU preferable)
- SAGE system
- Excel skills (V-LOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, modelling)
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates will not be suitable without all of the essential skills listed above.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Director of Finance
- Financial support to tenders and bidding process
- Financial modelling and costing for business cases
- Month end management accounts closure
- Developing a bespoke forecasting tool
- Budget setting and reporting
- Supervising and co-ordinating junior staff
- Ad-hoc project assignments
