Our client is currently looking for a team lead who can lead and coordinate there EDM Documentum project.
The EDM Documentum project aims on implementing a new, validated Electronic Document Management system, based on Documentum 6.6 with add-ons (such as Documentum D2), in order to replace the current Documentum 5.3 environment. The migration has to be finalized by the end of 2013.
The project has two main streams:
Development: focusing on building the functionality required to be able to replace the current Documentum 5.3 environment
Rollout: supporting the user groups of the current Documentum system with migrating their content to the new release.
Job Description/Project Background
Leading a small team of functional specialists
Capturing user requirements
Translating the user requirements into functional specifications
Creating the corresponding test scripts to verify user requirements and functional specification
Coordinating testing
Coordinating the creation of and review end-user documentation (manuals, work instructions and training material)
Alignment with the technical team responsible for developing the functionality as specified in the functional specifications
Alignment with the Project Manager of the Development stream with respect to planning and progress
Alignment with the Project Validation and Quality Officers
Experience/Required skills
Knowledge of Electronic Document Management processes
Being able to translate business requests into specifications keeping in mind the functionalities offered by Documentum
Functional (in-depth) and technical (basic) knowledge of Documentum 6/7 and Documentum D2
Personal skills
* Excellent communicator, process skills and being able to influence without hierarchical force.
