My company is a growing international organisation searching for Video on Demand Testers.
Key Skills
- Experience with Video-on-Demand, DVB, IPTV, Over-the-top
- Experience with MPEG, DVB, SI, DSM-CC, DVB-C
- Experience with Digital TV Set-Top Box Testing (Test Plan Writing & Execution)
- Experience in Digital TV Head-end Testing (Including Test Plan Writing, Testing New
- Configurations and/or new Components of digital TV head-ends, Text Execution using set-top boxes and DVB monitoring tools, and bug reporting and management)
- Co-ordination of small technical teams (0-4 people)
- Test Result Reporting (Technical & Management)
- Willingness to Travel
- Fluent English
About the Role
- Video-on-Demand Testing
- Gathering requirements including attending client meetings, networking, summarizing requirements and objectives for the test projects
- Test plan writing including specifying test cases, test procedure and test coverage, as well as estimating required time for test execution
- Test Execution and Coordination of Test Execution using Set-Top Boxes and DVB Monitoring Tools
- Bug management
- Test Result Reporting (Technical & Management)
