Description
The client is an International Pharmaceutical and Consumer Health Organisation who have sold some of their sites in South UK. They are demolishing several buildings on their Consumer Health Site and are looking for a Project (EHS) Manager. This is a £500,000 project.The client is looking for a Project Manager with EHS construction/building/demolition experience, with ideally the IOSH/COSHH/NEBOSH/CCDO qualifications. This individual will manage/coordinate the site works and enforce procedures and safety.
The client is looking for this individual to be on this project for 2.5 months with strong possibility of 1-1.5 years of other project work in different locations.
Responsibilities
• Effectively communicate and verify implementation of the Company’s EHS policies and procedures
• Assign clear responsibilities that are necessary to achieve the Company’s EHS goals and objectives
• Verify that subordinates are executing these responsibilities properly
• Enforce EHS procedures and issue disciplinary actions, when required
• Ensure that EHS deficiencies identified in audits and inspections are promptly corrected; and
• Coordinate with the Owner and third parties on EHS matters
• Provide monthly KPI’s including man-hours worked to date
• Support Tool Box Talks
• Support and advise site management in their duty to implement Company and site-specific EHS policies and procedures
• Provide information on a monthly basis as part of the task to inform management, supervision, and employees concerning;
• Incident analyses (cause, trends, results, and corrective action)
• Safe work procedure
• EHS Training requirements
• Assist with safety audits
• Member of the Projects Safety Management team
• Ensure relevant PTW and JSA are in place and in use, organise any refresher training as and when required
