Description
This position is for an experienced software developer in the machine engine application feature development team.
This position reviews feature requirements from various engine application teams and then is responsible for software design, coding, developing the test plan, and unit testing the feature before integration into the release. Will use customer FAST and dSpace Mid Range Engine Test equipment for software validation using service tools such as Vector CANape, CANalyzer. Works closely with multiple groups in multiple locations globally. This role works closely with NPI teams to meet program timelines.
SKILLS:
- Embedded C code development experience needed
- Test Bench Execution Intermediate 2.0 Preferred
- Embedded systems Intermediate 3.0 Required
- Coding Expert 5.0 Required
- Must be an effective communicator and work well on teams.
- Must be experienced with Embedded C code development.
- Must also be knowledgeable with ClearCase version control software.
- Engine systems experience, Matlab/Simulink, and/or automotive or heavy equipment package architecture would be beneficial
